Text Box: Happy Mother's Day American Mothers! What an honor it is to represent the wonderful young Mothers of Utah.  We lead the way in all that is good, by precept and example as we shape the future and nurture the lives in our care.  Motherhood is the greatest role a woman can fulfill.  By it and through it, we have the deepest impact for good we can ever have on society. The influence of a loving home cannot be overstated. A world leader has said, "I desire to call attention to the fact, that the united, well ordered American home is one of the greatest contributing factors to the preservation of the Constitution of the United States. It has been aptly said that out of the homes of America will come the future citizens of America and only as those homes are what they should be, will this nation be what it should be."
Text Box:     As your representative this year, I look forward to meeting many of you who are striving to make your homes, communities and our nation great.   My hope is to share the American Mother pledge everywhere I can, that its power and influence might strengthen every home in which it is displayed.  The inspiring words of the pledge help focus our hearts on the foundation of what is really important in parenting. Each month in the newsletter, I will be sharing a message related to one of the tenets of the pledge. I would love to receive ideas of ways the pledge helps you as a Mother and ways to further share its strength and power. I encourage chapter leaders to design ways to implement the use of the pledge in meetings and prepare a copy for each Mother to display in her home. I will be preparing thousands of copies to distribute in parades this summer to share this important message with Mothers.
I have served American Mothers for over 13 years and will happily share ideas, mentor and speak at American Mother meetings and events. I have published a book entitled "A Loving Mother Is..." 150 Text Box: inspirational quotes, prepared for use in American Mother chapter meetings, to be given out as handouts or as theme or message ideas. I have given permission with purchase to copy as needed and invite American Mother members to use these beautiful words to enrich meetings, homes and families. (Books are only $10.00 plus shipping and can be ordered by contacting me at my e-mail address below).
I believe in the power of this organization and in the power of its members to make a vital contribution to the society in which we live.
This Mother's Day I will be representing Utah at the World Congress of Families in Warsaw Poland and will give a report of the Congress upon my return. I would love to share what I learn in chapter meetings.
Along with raising my family, serving the Mothers of Utah is my greatest joy. I hope to hear from you and learn from you as we share magnificent Motherhood together.
